Description：

Calcium Ferrite is also called pre-melting steel making slag former. It has the characteristics as follows.

Firstly, Calcium Ferrite can accelerate the dissolution of lime, thus the accelerated melting by fluorite can be replaced. Through the Calcium ferrite slag on carbon saturated Fe - C - P alloy, the dephosphorization test under 1350 ℃ and N2 atmosphere, the fact shows that the calcium ferrite dephosphorization agent has the less oxygen consumption, better dephosphorization dynamic condition compared with the oxide dephosphorization agent, which realized the fluoride free steel making, less erosion on furnace lining and reduce the environmental pollution.

Secondly, Calcium Ferrite adapts high calcium composite materials, with uniformity ingredients and stability quality. The yield of steel industry can improve about 1% by the advantages of good slugging, smooth smelting and reduced steel splash.

Finally, Calcium Ferrite effectively improve the converter smelting process to shorten the melting time by speeding the slugging and dephosporization rate.
